About Me and My Interests
My name is Amelia Horswill. I am 27 years old and I currently reside in Arvada, Colorado in the U.S.A.. I lived in Shanghai, China from 2011 to 2013. I have a Masters in International studies from Concordia University in Irvine, California with a dual emphasis in China and Business. I also hold a Bachelors in International Affairs with a Minor in Japanese from Northern Arizona University (NAU). I am also TESOL certified by Concordia University in Irvine, California. I have been employed both in the private sector as well as the public sector since 2005.
I believe in public service, and have volunteered in a number of capacities over the course of my life. Most notably I was the Online Chair for NAU's 2009 Relay for Life event, and I scheduled the program for a 3-day conference raising money and awareness for Fictional literature among adolescents in California.
I am interested in International relations, and the globalization of the world's societies. I am also interested in Social Technologies, how they help us all stay connected and their potential benefits. Career wise I am interested in helping people manage living and working abroad. I am also interested in helping people to travel and learn more about our global community.
